Who this is for
You want Scarlett's bookings in the calendar you already use, and your invoices and quotes flowing into your accounting. Connect the tools you use; skip the rest. She only writes to them after a call ends, so the conversation stays fast.
Time: 5 minutes. You'll need: to be the owner, and to sign in to the tool you're connecting.
Steps

1. Connect Google Calendar
Under Calendar sync, press Connect Google Calendar and sign in. Scarlett puts confirmed jobs straight in and works around anything you've already blocked out.
2. Connect Xero
Under Accounting, press Connect Xero and sign in. When you're back, a Configure button appears on the Xero card — open it.

3. Pick your Xero organisation
On the Xero page, choose the organisation Scarlett should write to and press Save. This is the important one — nothing is exported until an organisation is chosen, so a draft can't land in the wrong set of books. Test connection checks it's reaching Xero.
Whether your invoices and quotes actually go to Xero (rather than staying in Scarlett) is set on the Invoices and Quotes pages — the Used for badges here show which is which.
What's live today
| Integration | Status |
|---|---|
| Google Calendar | Live — two-way sync |
| Xero | Connect, pick your organisation and test the link — all live. Scarlett drafting each document into Xero is the last piece being switched on |
| Outlook | Listed, but not switched on yet |
Verify it worked
A connected tool shows a Connected badge with the account it's linked to. Google Calendar bookings then appear in your calendar. On Xero, Test connection reports the organisation it reached.
Troubleshooting
Outlook won't connect. Outlook is shown under Calendar sync but isn't wired up yet — use Google Calendar for live two-way sync for now.
"Couldn't connect." The sign-in didn't complete or was declined. Press Connect again and allow access when the tool asks.
"Your Xero login has more than one organisation." Scarlett won't guess. Open Configure, pick the right organisation and Save — exporting stays paused until you do.
Only the owner can connect accounting software. Managers and engineers can see the page but can't connect or change the organisation.
What's next
- Manage your diary — see synced bookings on the calendar.
- Create and send an invoice — where Xero comes in.
- Draft and send quotes — the same, for quotes.
